The Archery NI Board has continued to monitor the situation regards COVID and the related restrictions and continues to engage with the relevant organisations providing advice and guidance. The NI Executive made announcements on the 12th November regards the extension of restrictions for one week across NI. There was no specific reference to the sport sector in this announcement. Archery NI advises that the situation remains unchanged that, as an outdoor, non-contact sport, club archery can continue subject to strict adherence to the sport protocols previously issued, emphasising that car sharing to and from sessions and shoots with anyone from outside of your own household is forbidden. Indoor archery remains suspended. In the meantime, the Archery NI Board passes its best wishes to all of our members. Enjoy shooting responsibly and stay safe.
