Mary Peters Trust has announced funding available for enthusiastic and dedicated young athletes. This Award is separate from the annual (April) application and is designed to help the successful athlete access specialist skills and knowledge to assist sporting potential. The award value is £2,000.

Interested athletes aged over 14 should access the Mary Peters Trust website: under ‘Awards’ see ‘Make it Happen Award’ for more information and select ‘MPT Award Application’ to apply.

Applicants must have a proven ability at junior/senior level with a standing against World, British and Irish standards which indicates potential to compete at international level or with distinction at British and Irish championships.

The application forms should be signed by a parent/guardian if under 18, returned to Mary Peters Trust and will be endorsed in due course by Archery NI.

The closing date for applications is Friday, January 20th  2023 at 5:00pm. The winner will be announced in February 2023.
